Pembrokeshire Pupils Explore the Future of Farming at First PAS Agricultural Careers Day
Over 200 pupils from secondary schools and colleges across Pembrokeshire attended the inaugural PAS Agricultural Careers Day, a new initiative brought to life by Olwen Thomas and Sian Bushell. What began as an idea soon grew into a landmark event, giving young people the opportunity to discover the breadth of careers available within the agricultural and land-based industries.
Throughout the day, students engaged with a wide range of industry professionals and organisations, each showcasing different career pathways within the sector.

From veterinary science and food production to farm business management and hands-on agricultural roles, pupils gained valuable insight into the variety and viability of rural career options.
