PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY SHOW
15th, 16th & 17th August 2017
Changes to livestock timetable
This year's Pembrokeshire County Show has plenty in store for visitors, with some big changes to the timetable.
The livestock entries are at the heart of the show and for the first time there will be cattle on site for all three days.
From Jerseys to Welsh Blacks, visitors will be able to walk around the cattle shed and see the animals being judged in the J.E. Lawrence Livestock Arena.
New for this year, the sheep will be in their own area with judging taking place over two days, on the Wednesday and Thursday.
The ever popular pigs and goats will make their appearance on the Thursday.
Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society Ltd Board chairman, Mike Davies said:
"Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society is looking forward to providing the public with cattle and sheep classes spread over the three-day County Show - something visitors have been requesting for quite some time. This will further enhance the agricultural content of the show and will work well alongside the many other attractions at the 2017 event."
The Society is also grateful to the judges, exhibitors and stewards for supporting the changes.
The top quality exhibition of livestock is one of the Pembrokeshire County Show's key public attractions and this move is aimed at improving the overall experience of the event for visitors.
Mr Davies added: "Watch this space for an exciting announcement coming soon regarding a livestock exhibition which will be seen for the first time in Wales at this year's County Show."
The show takes place from August 15-17 2017
