£1,000 student bursary 2024 award.
If you are studying agriculture or agricultural related subjects such as agricultural science, veterinary, engineering, food technology or any other subject allied to agriculture and your home address is within Pembrokeshire, then you are eligible to apply.
Application details:
The Bursary Award is open to all qualifying students studying agriculture, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, food technology, forestry or other subjects clearly allied to agriculture.
The £1000 is tax free and will be awarded to the student who, in the opinion of the judge, has submitted the best Dissertation on how the Bursary will assist them to complete their course of study.
Qualifying Students
- Students who have not won the Student Bursary on a previous occasion.
- The applicant is studying, or has been accepted to study agriculture or any allied subject at a UK College or University at level 3, A level or higher.
- The applicant’s family home is in Pembrokeshire.
Dissertation
- 1000 words on “How the Bursary will assist me to complete my course of study”
Judging
A Judge, alongside a representative of the Society, will draw up a short list of candidates who will be interviewed. The winning candidate will be asked to give a short presentation at a future meeting of the Society’s Show Council.
