Pembrokeshire Food and Farming Awards return for second year as nominations open
The Pembrokeshire Food and Farming Awards will return for their second year on Thursday 3 December 2026, celebrating the farmers, food and drink producers, rural businesses and community champions who make an outstanding contribution to Pembrokeshire.
The event will once again shine a spotlight on the people, businesses and organisations at the heart of the county’s farming, food and rural communities.
Nominations are now open online, with entries closing on Monday 19 October 2026.
This year’s awards feature ten categories, recognising achievement across agriculture, food and drink, rural enterprise, sustainability, diversification and community life.
Award Categories
Farmer of the Year
Celebrating a farmer who demonstrates excellence, innovation, resilience and leadership while making a significant contribution to Pembrokeshire agriculture.
Rural Community Champion
Recognising an individual, organisation or group whose dedication has strengthened rural communities and improved the lives of those around them.
Rural Business of the Year
Recognising an outstanding rural enterprise that supports farming, creates opportunities and contributes to the strength and sustainability of the local economy.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Honouring an individual whose unwavering commitment, leadership and service have left a lasting legacy for agriculture and rural life in Pembrokeshire.
Farm Diversification Award
Celebrating innovative and successful diversification projects that add value, create new opportunities and help secure the future of farming businesses.
Taste of Pembrokeshire – Food or Drink Product (Voted by the Public)
Showcasing the very best food and drink produced in Pembrokeshire, with the winner chosen by the public.
Food Champion
Recognising an individual, business or organisation that has played a leading role in promoting, producing or supporting high-quality local food and drink.
Farming for the Future Award
Celebrating those leading the way in sustainable, progressive and forward-thinking farming practices that will help shape the future of agriculture.
Agricultural Advisor and Rural Lifeline of the Year
Recognising the trusted advisor, independent specialist or rural professional whose expertise, dedication and support make a real difference to farmers, farming families and rural businesses.
Showstopper Award
Awarded to an individual, business or organisation that has truly stood out through exceptional achievement, an outstanding event, inspiration, innovation or impact during the year.
The awards are designed to recognise not only established names within Pembrokeshire’s farming and food industries, but also the individuals and organisations whose work can sometimes happen quietly behind the scenes.
From farmers embracing new ideas and businesses creating employment in rural communities to advisors providing vital support and producers putting Pembrokeshire food and drink on the map, the awards celebrate the breadth and strength of the county’s rural economy.
Organisers are encouraging people from across Pembrokeshire to put forward those they believe deserve recognition.
Nominations close on Monday 19 October 2026, ahead of the awards ceremony on Thursday 3 December 2026.
